POLICE SERVICE ACT - 1970 (ACT 350)

    Section - 32 - Power to Regulate Traffic.

    (1) Any superior police officer or other police officer so authorised by a superior police officer may at any time for the purpose of preserving public order and safety stop, divert or otherwise direct and regulate the course of traffic.

    (2) Any person who opposes or disobeys any order under this section shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding fifty new cedis or to imprisonment not exceeding three months, or to both.
